The
power of expression seldom requires words. Marcus
Suarez has chosen art to express his love for this
country's rich culture. He is a graduate of the
School of Art and Design in New York. His works
originally appeared on the cold steel of subway
cars. From that arena like his fellow
graffiti-artist Keith Haring, his work moved on
the canvas and his true talent began to attract
some very special attention.

Today,
the Malcolm Forbes Estate, The Harlem Museum,
actor Judd Nelson, Anthony Michael Hall, Michel
Roux, Ringo Star and dance clubs in New York and
South Beach Miami are all proud owners of pieces
created by Marcus. He is known to friends as
"Marco the Painter". His work has been
featured in the well received Absolut Vodka
campaign (Absolut Suarez) Artist of the Nineties,
Vanity Fair, and numerous other venues.

Marcus
is prolific. As his contemporaries have moved to
larger canvases to "work big", Marcus
moved to walls and Body Painting. His
"public" works, murals and graphic
treatments set the specific tone of some of the
most popular clubs in New York and South Beach
Miami.

He
creates faux marble, stone and granite wall
textures for homes and restaurants while he puts
time aside to work on the personal projects of his
muse. He works in all mediums - oil, latex,
airbrush - to achieve his ends. New and
future works promise a growing audience for Marcus
Suarez' work. Collectors can't save his murals,
but can certainly own a canvas by Marcus.
